Muntzenheim

Muntzenheim is a common French, located in the department of the Haut-Rhin and the area Alsace.

Geography

History

Muntzenheim enters dated March 4th, 673 the history written at the time mérovingienne by a Charte of the Abbaye of Munster. The name of the agglomeration is then spelled " Monesensisheim". Probably since the beginning of XIIe century, the village belonged to the counts de Horbourg. Their successors, Wurtemberg introduced there the Réforme in 1539.
