Municipal sports association Belfortaine

ASMB , Sports association Municipal Belfortaine, is a club d´ Escrime of Belfort (in France) which was born in 1923 thanks to André Philippe (vice-president of FE).

It created since true talents, like Philippe Schraag, vice world champion and champion of France in the Années 1960 and Claude Bourquard, medal-holder with the OJ and the championships of the world at the same period.

Daniel Levavasseur was trainer of the team of France out of sword during 8 years and is currently coach of Laura Flessel.

The club counts today more than 100 bachelors, and of promising young people, as Thibault Sarda are on the list for the next Olympic Games.
