Mullet

The mullet is a common noun to several Mediterranean fish osseous. The red mullets (order of the Perciformes) gather three species: the surmulet (scientific name Mullus surmuletus ), with delivered reddish, alive along the rock coasts, the barbet spaniel ( Mullus barbatus ), with the scales bright red, characteristic of the sandy funds, and the mullet barberin ( Parureneus barberinys ). The Gurnard S or trigles (order of the Scorpaeniformes), also usually called “mullet”, represent several fish species.
Characteristics
Do not seek a red fish, it will be only by dying it. He lives in small group or couple on the gravel and sand funds to the edge of the meadows of Posidonie S and of the rocks.
