Muhammad Ben `Abd Al-Haqq (محمدبنعَبدالحَقّ muḥammad Ben `abd Al-ḥaqq) was born with an unknown date. It succeeded his brother `Uthman like sultan Mérinide in 1240. He died in 1244.
History
The
Caliph Almohade `Abd Al-Wâhid rear-Rachid had named a governor with
Meknès with mission of fighting the
Mérinides. Mérinides in answer besieged Meknès, it was a semisuccess. The successor of `Abd Al-Wâhid rear-Rachid, Abû Al-Hassan sits `îd Al-Mu' tadid in its turn tried to subdue this rebellion mérinide. Muhammad Ben `Abd Al-Haqq died in the court of a combat (1244), killed by an officer of the militia of Christian mercenaries (
rum ).
