Mudra school

Mudra is a school of dance founded with Brussels in 1970 by Maurice Béjart, which was attached to the Ballet of the XXe century. Many disciplines were taught there, such as the Chorégraphie, the Chant, the Rythme, the Solfège, the Scénographie, by professors with the singular personality like Alfons Goris or Fernand Schirren. Many great figures of the Contemporary dance passed by Mudra.
One year after its departure for Lausanne in 1987, Béjart decides to close Mudra and opens, in its new town of reception, the school Rudra.
Mudra-Africa
In 1977, Maurice Béjart will open Mudra Africa has Dakar with Germaine Acogny.
