In Data-processing, MCCP ( Mud Customer Compression Protocol ) is a Protocole network used by the Multi-User Dungeon (MUD) textual for the Data compression.

More specifically, the flow of text sent by the waiter MUD to its customer is compacted by using the library Zlib. The Band-width less solicited, information forwards more quickly. With this intention, MCCP must be implemented side waiter as well as side customer and negotiated during the establishment of connection by using the protocol telnet.
