MuPAD
MuPAD is a Computation software formal developed initially by a group of research of the Université of Paderborn . Since 1997, the company SciFace Software GMBH & Co. KG took again its development in co-operation with the initial group of developers like with partners of other universities.
The syntax of MuPAD is close to that of Maple. However, the MuPAD language is directed object and makes it possible to define fields and to give types to the objects.
Each object carries in itself the methods which can be to him applied. For example, if a matrix is defined A:= matrix (1,2], [3,4) , all following expressions A+A, - has, 2*A, A*A, A^-1, exp (A), A^0, 0*A are valid and give the awaited result, which is seldom the case with other systems of formal calculation.
