The Mouloudia Sportif of Cherchell is an Algerian club of founded Football in 1947 by Mohamed Al-Anouar Tareb.

History

The club is founded in 1947, by Mohamed Al-Anouar Tareb. It was the prosperous period of the club. During the war (starting from 1956), the club will cease any activity, with the call of the FLN, which the president, large patriotic, will have answered, just like of other clubs Algérie NS like the MC Algiers and will take again as of the independence of the Algérie (in 1962) until the death of Mohamed Al-Anouar Tareb the November 11th 1971. For this day, every year a match of official reception in homage to the late president has been organized; opposing ms Cherchell to one or more other teams (the latest to date saw to clash old glories of the MC Algiers, USM Algiers and JS Kabylie). The April 14th 2006, of former players of the club took part in the commemorative match, in presence in particular of the wali of Tipaza and the two elder children of the late president.
