Synopsis

A bank clerk Parisian, Henri Verdoux, is tiny room to unemployment by the crisis of 1929. To provide for the needs for his invalid wife and her son, he marries widowed rich person who die quickly after the weddings. But, the close relations of the last victim have suspicions whereas Verdoux falls in love and thinks of lining up.
