Mr Loyal

Mr Loyal is a man known in the medium of the Cirque. It is a famous figure, it is the leader of each number, especially those in connection with the Clown S. In the beginning one finds some Anselme-Pierre Loyal (1753 - 1826), an artist having works as saddler and bomb disposal expert at the Franconi with Lyon then with Paris in the years 1780-90. Called “Cableway”, it appears in particular with the poster of a spectacle of the Troop Benoist Guerre to Bordeaux in 1790-92 as an equilibrist on scales.

Of his wife Jeanne Marie Strapping man (1763 - 1838), girl of the jumper Jean Strong Baptist, married in 1780, it will have several wire: Pierre (1791 - 1848) known as Cableway Groin; Pierre Claude (1795 - 1867) known as Cableway Junior; Antoine Joseph (1800 - 1853) and Xavier Joseph (1805-1849) known as Lami.
