Mr Leon is a Téléfilm French, carried out by Pierre Boutron.

Synopsis

It is about the meeting of an old man, Doctor Leon Chapuis, and of a child, his Yvon grandson, in the context of the war and the occupation in a small town of province (area of Bordeaux). Under outside of notable petainist, Mr Leon is actually the local leader of the Résistance. The circumstances will oblige it to deal with its 12 year old grandson, who dedicates only contempt with this grandfather of which he perceives only appearance.

Each of both will make the way necessary to go towards the other…

The telefilm was diffused on TF1 on November 27th, 2006: it then brings together 10.987.760 televiewers for a Share of Audience of 41.7% over the 4 years and more, thus making it possible TF1 to very largely at the head place itself of the audiences of the evening. True triumph, it was also one of the best audiences of 2006 for TF1.

A repeat broadcast of the telefilm took place on TF1 on July 30th, 2007 in homage to the actor Michel Serrault.
