Geography

The ski station of Mourtis is a Ski station the Pyrenees located on the commune of Boutx in the department of the Haute-Garonne in the area the Midday-Pyrenees in Comminges

Access by the Collar of Menté

The station

Located between an altitude in bottom of the tracks of 1350 m at 1860 m at the point highest

It counts:

  • 22 km of tracks of Alpine skiing (8 green tracks, 5 blue tracks, 6 red tracks and 3 black tracks)

  • a rate per hour 16400 skiers/hour
  • 45 km of tracks of Ski touring in Forêt.

History

The Communauté of communes of the Canton of Saint-Happy plans to take again so far the exploitation of the station géree by the commune of boutx.

This is done, the station is now under the management of the Communauté of communes, which bring additional funds and necessary. These last funds allowed the purchase in particular snow-blowers.
