Mourmansk

Mourmansk (Russian: Му́рманск) is a Ville of Russia, in the Oblast de Mourmansk. important Port which is located on the Mer of Barents. Its population is of 320  920 inhabitants in 2007. It is more the big city in north of the Arctic circle. Near to a port of the fleet of north where tens of submarines with nuclear propulsion rust.

The city was founded in 1912 by the tsar Nicolas II of Russia on the river Tuloma, in order to offer to its country an access on the Arctic Ocean which is not taken continuously in the ices.

She played a big role during the Second world war, she was indeed one of the ports by which the Allies supplied the USSR at the time of the installation of the convoys of the Arctic.
