Mourad Boucif
Mourad Boucif is a Réalisateur Belgian born in 1967 in Algérie Moroccan parents. After a training of specialized educator, and some odd jobs, it becomes stimulating in a center of young people of a district of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean and launches out in 1996 with them in a cinematographic project with young people of the disadvantaged district with the team of the Asbl the Source. A film which tells the history of a young drug addict who tries to preserve his dignity and those of his close relations.
In 2003 it is a feature-length film entitled Beyond Gibraltar , which left in rooms to Belgium, these two films was carried out with financial means the very thin ones and however continues to be diffused a little everywhere in Europe and in particular in Africa.
In 2006, the realizer leaves film-documentary perfectly complementary with the film Indigènes Rachid Bouchareb where besides one of its actors in Beyond Gibraltar , Abdeslam Arbaoui plays there in the role of the father of Omar.
