Mourad Amirkhanian
Born on July 6th 1974 with Giumry, in Arménie, Mourad Amirkhanian is an opera singer of Armenian origin but residing in France.
After his cycle of improvement and specialization to the Higher Academy of Arménie, this Baritone-low young person , prize winner in 2003 of the international Contest of song of the French UFAM-Union of the musician-Paris artists, obtained his diploma of the Teacher training school of Music of Paris in 2004 and his higher diploma " Schola Cantorum". He also took part in master-classes of prestigious Masters, like Jose van Dam, Renata Scotto, François the Russet-red, Caroline Dumas, Mireille Alcantara or Dalton Baldwin.
Recent concerts, and in particular a memorable recital organized in February 2006 Cortot Room in Paris, with the participation of the soprano Claire Parizot and the pianist Genc Tukiçi, imposed it, in the musical medium, like one of the most promising artists of international level of its generation.
Mourad Amirkhanian recorded Rigoletto Verdi in cinematographic version in the role of Sparafucile (DVD published in 2003) and Samson and Dalila in the role of Abimélech (left the DVD envisaged in 2007).
In July 2006, it took part, as actor-singer, with the turning of the film-opera Opera Spanga carried out by Korina van Eyck.
January 9th, 2007, it appeared, with Genc Tukiçi, Hermineh Yerissian and Laurent Boutros, with the program of one evening exceptional " Lyric in Fête" , within the framework of France Arménie 2007, Cortot room, in Paris. October 12th, 2007, there was again Cortot room, with the pianist Vahan Mardirossian.
