Places and monuments

  • the village is especially known because of the original site which surrounds it. It is about a dolomitic circus where erosion worked a ruiniform landscape. The Circus of Mourèze, formerly sheltered the men of the Préhistoire (several oppida and caves), then accommodated the coalmen and the shepherds. Today, the absence of herd lets the vegetation cover the site, especially attended by the walkers who come to lose themselves in the natural labyrinth of his rocks to the forms étranges.
