Mounts of Lacaune
The mounts of Lacaune are a mountainous solid mass located at the south of the Massif Central in France.
Geographical location
This solid mass is centered on around the town of Lacaune from where its name. It is delimited in the south by the Agout and the Vèbre, in north by the Rance and in the west by the Gijou. It is located mainly in the end is Tarn and overflows a little on the departments of the Aveyron and the Herault. Its culminating point is the Montgrand with 1267 meters.
Geology
It is an old solid mass Hercynien (- 360 million years with -300 million years) directed according to an axis.
