Mount-on-poker

Mount-on-Poker is a common Suisse of the Canton of Vaud, located in the District of Poker, it belongs to the Coast.

The vineyard and its wines

Mount-on-Poker is also a viticultural name of the Coast of Vaud which extends on the 250 hectares from vineyard from the slope which covers the territory of the communes of Mount-on-Poker, Rolle, Essertines-on-Poker, as well as part of Perroy.

The slope, then called Mount-the-Large is cleared at the 12th century by Moine S come from Burgundy. They plant Chasselas day there. The vineyard is occupied between 1536 and 1798 by the Bernese which create several of the fields and residences of the area.
