Mould-chips

Presentation

mould-chips (note the changes of breakage) is the national federation of young associations LGBT and coeds. O and I capital letters are obvious sexual allusions.

Structure

The federation is an association of Loi 1901, whose members are associations or natural persons representing a grouping in fact (in particular for associations who are a section of another association). The members of the council are them natural persons, members of the one of the members of the federation.

The council

The officers projects to which two secretaries are added, two spokespersons, two treasurers and two persons in charge Web train the council of the federation. This one does not have any particular capacity, and has for only mission of ensuring the operation of the federation and good progress of the projects.

Operation

Projects

The activity of the federation is articulated around projects, framed by persons in charge. Any member of an association member can take part in one of these projects. The essence of the communication is done through Internet, for reasons of geographical distance, by the means of mailing-list, and of a site of internal use. In the same way, any member of an association member wishing to invest itself in the operation of the federation can obtain an access to this site.

The projects (to be developed) are communication campaigns around the key dates of the Federation: February 14th (Saint Valentin), May 17th (world Day of fight against the homophobie), and of the more specific moments (gay prides, events). The Federation publishes a double guide of prevention called Filles between them - Boys between them (Fairy-Gee).

Girls between them - Boys between them (Fairy-Gee)

The young boys and girls who discover a nonconventional sexual orientation often miss interlocutors. They find them, too often, neither in their family, neither at the school, nor in their places of life. They also miss reference mark, referents, of information. They do not have of the spring or the sufficient supports to refuse the homophobie of which they can be the target.

In order to break this loneliness, in order to accompany their reflection on them-even, in order to offer some essential elements of prevention against HIV and the Infections Sexually Transmissible, the mould-chips federation decided to publish, with the support of INPES, a booklet addressed to the young people from 15 to 20 years.

This booklet entitled Girls between them - Boys between them, takes again a standard course of life. While starting with the discovery of attractions for the people of the same sex to finish by a nonbiological approach of sexuality, while passing by the coming out, confrontation with the Homophobie or the meeting of other young people.
