Moulay Rachid
Its royal highness the Prince Moulay Rachid of the Morocco, wire junior by Hassan II, was born the June 20th 1970 with Rabat.
Heir to the throne according to the successional law instituted by the king Hassan II who stipulates that the legal majority of a prince to reach the throne must be 16 years. The son of king Mohammed VI, prince Hassan, not having reached this majority; it is prince Moulay Rachid which is the heir to the throne of Morocco.
The 18 May 2001, Moulay Rachid publicly supports with the Université Montesquieu-Bordeaux IV a thesis of Doctorat in right on the Organization of the Islamic conference, study of a specific international organization. The jury decreed to him, unanimously, the very honourable mention and the congratulations of the jury with particular mention for his publication, have regard to the interest of the subject and the quality of work. Moulay Rachid is promoted in July 2000 with the Brigadier general rank of .
Moulay Rachid is president of the following organizations: The 4 April 1997, he becomes president of the National federation of Moroccan scouting. He is also president of the Fondation of the International festival of film of Marrakech and chairs the International festival of film of Marrakech, the Association Trophy Hassan II of golf, the Trophée Hassan II of Golf, the Moroccan royal Fédération of shooting to the hunting weapons, the preparatory Commission of the Summit of the United Nations for childhood.
He is honorary president of the following organizations:
- Moroccan royal Federation of yachting with veil;
- Moroccan royal Federation of ski and mountain;
- Moroccan Association of environmental protection;
- Spanish Association of social assistance;
- Maghrebian Association of research and fight against AIDS;
- Association Morocco-Extreme the East: dialog, studies, exchange;
- Association of the Students of right in French.
