In September 1914, at the time of an attack with Vaux Palameix (Meuse) close to Verdun, Marcel LOISEAU soldier with 106 éme IH and liaison officer is wounded. It goes to the infirmary when it crosses the Girard captain who gives him the order to regain the lines in spite of his wound. The soldier who suffers, disobeys and joined the infirmary to be made look after. The Girard captain writes a report/ratio and shows it to be itself mutilated voluntarily. The council of war condemns Marcel LOISEAU to the capital punishment for abandonment of station and self-inflicted injury. The sentence is carried out the following day, in Mouilly. March 17th, 1922, the court of criminal appeal of the Court of appeal noting that there were no sufficient loads, rehabilitated shot.
