Distribution and habitat
The mottled crotale is present south of the Nevada at the Baja California, in Arizona and in the north of the Sonara. This distribution coincides with the deserts Mojave and Sonoran.In the south of the California, the species is more frequent in the rock grounds, inside the grounds. She lives also the rock hills and the overwash phases in the desert. One seldom sees it in the coastal areas.
