Mottled Amphilaïs
The Amphilaïs mottled or Dromaeocerque de Seebohm ( Amphilais seebohmi ) is a endemic Passereau of Madagascar.
Etymology
The name Dromaeocerque comes from the name of the old kind Dromaeocercus which means tail of émeu that one finds in the English vernacular name “ Moved-tail ”.The current name of the kind and name CINFO are to be brought closer to that of the Hypolaïs. The name of the species pays homage to Henry Seebohm.
