Motivic Cohomology

A motivic cohomology is a cohomologic theory in Mathématiques whose existence was conjectured for the first time by Alexander Grothendieck in the Années 1960. At the time, one conceived it as built on the basis of standard Conjectures about the algebraic cycles, in algebraic Géométrie. It draws its bases in Théorie of the categories, which makes it possible to deduce from the consequences starting from these conjectures. Grothendieck and Bombieri showed the depth of this approach by deriving a conditional Preuve of the Conjectures from Weil of this way. On the other hand, of the evidence of the standard conjectures were not found.
