Mosaïculture
In Gardening and Horticulture, the mosaïculture is art to compose of the tables coloured using selected alive Plantes for their colors, mainly the color of the foliage, and their homogeneity of growth, planted tight according to a preestablished drawing. The mosaïculture is practiced especially in the public gardens, generally in two dimensions, but also in three dimensions, giving place then to true vegetable sculptures. One of the most traditional forms of this art is the reproduction of the Blason S of the cities
The International committee of mosaïculture organizes every three international years a demonstration called “Mosaïcultures” of which the two first editions were held with Montreal (Quebec) in 2000 and in 2003. The following one will be held in 2006 with Shanghai (China).
