Morschwiller

Morschwiller is a common French, located in the department of the the Low-Rhine and the area Alsace.

Geography

Morschwiller is located in the North-East of the Kochersberg, between Pfaffenhoffen and Brumath. The village is crossed of is in west by the road department 419 which connects the two cities. The communes bordering are: Dauendorf in the North-East, Uhlwiller (and its Niederaltdorf variation) in the east, Huttendorf in south-east, Grassendorf and Ringeldorf in the west, Pfaffenhoffen and Niedermodern in north.

History

The first mention of the village goes back to 771. Morschwiller was an old imperial village then royal bailliage of Haguenau.
