Morrison sterling
Sterling Morrison (1942 - 1995) was the guitarist of the group The Velvet Underground of 1965 with 1971.
Morrison is the cofounder of the New Yorkean group, at the sides of Lou Reed, John Cale, and Angus MacLise (this last being quickly replaced by Moe Tucker). It will leave the group only in 1971, following Lou Reed who had given up the ship a few months earlier.
Sterling Morrison then taught the medieval literature at the university of the Texas, with Austin, before becoming captain of tug boat. It will remake some specific appearances in the world of the music, in particular while collaborating in an album solo of Moe Tucker, and while taking part in the short reformation of Velvet Underground in 1993.
It is deceased continuations of a cancer in 1995, with old 53 years.
