Morphix

Morphix is a distribution GNU/Linux based on the distribution Debian and derived from Knoppix.

This distribution does not require an installation to be able to use it. It is enough to insert CD-ROM in the reader into the starting of the computer, it is a LiveCD. However, an option makes it possible thereafter to install it on an hard drive.

Several versions exist (special Jeux, Bureautique, etc). This distribution is available for the moment only in English.

The distribution Ubuntu (the first Warty version having been distributed to the second half-year 2004) appuye on Morphix to offer not only one LiveCD, but also a complete distribution.
