Comments

Although not being autobiographical as well as the Accounts of a young doctor , this news is very inspired by the life of its author who exerted medicine between 1916 and 1920 under conditions close to those lived by Doctor Poliakov. Morphine takes again part of a very first novel written by Boulgakov with the beginning of the year 1920 pennies the provisional title of Niedroug ( Maladie or Infirmité in Russian) which was destroyed by the author.
