Moronvilliers
Moronvilliers is a village of the Marne, destroyed at the time of the First World War.
Son name was adopted by the common neighbor of Pontfaverger to form Pontfaverger-Moronvilliers. Located at a score of kilometers of Rheims.
The site shelters today a research center of ECA attached to the center Prejudice-Island-of-France. The machine of nuclear radiography of phenomenon Airix there was built in 2000 and is today one of the essential points of the nuclear simulation program of French national defense. This site makes also research on the détonique one, for that it carries out approximately a hundred shootings to the free air per annum. The products used are uranium and beryllium. The pulverization of these products carcinogen and poison pose serious problems with the employees and the environment (by ex: contamination of the underground layers).
