Morgins
Morgins is a small station of mountain (1333 meters) of the the Swiss Alps in the Canton of Were worth, district of Monthey. Morgins belongs to the skiable field Portes of the Sun. The village located at the bottom of the Small valley of Morgins saw mainly tourist activities. A microclimate makes of Morgins one of the stations the best snow-covered ones of Were worth.
Swiss side, one reaches it mainly via the Val of Illiez starting from Troistorrents. The No Morgins (1369 m), a collar of average altitude on the free-Switzerland border, makes it possible to reach the French station of Châtel.
The skiers Didier Défago and Joel Gaspoz are originating in Morgins as well as the snowboardor Guillaume Nantermod.
Morgins is also known for its source of férugineuse water locally called " water rouge".
