Morgan Reynolds is a American economist . He published in 1987 a study for the Think tank libertarien Cato Institute entitled Making America Poorer: The Cost off Labor Law (To make America poorer: the cost of the social legislation). It ensures that the working trade unions have an negative impact on the economy and that the social minimums are cause of unemployment. On this basis, it was named by the president George W. Bush as Director of the economic Management of the department of Work (2001 - 2002).
Withdrawn of the government, he became professor emeritus with the Texas A&M University.
