Morelle

The Morelles are plants of the Solanum . These plants are often toxic, their fruits coloured in particular, but some as the Morelle of America are edible. The term of morelle is used in an indistinct way for several species of this kind which do not have a vernacular Nom like the Solanum heterodoxum Dunal ex cd., 1813 or the Solanum rostratum Dunal 1813. This term derives from the Latin medieval, maurella which derives from Moor.
