Morbid Angel
Morbid Angel is a group of Death founded metal floridien in 1983 by Trey Azagthoth. Their music is a mixture, rather single in its kind, of complexity and brutality.
One can notice the use of guitars 7 cords what is original in death metal because the majority of the groups have of the 6 cords granted very low, the 7 cords remaining in the spirits an instrument of Shreddeur or associated either with the Prog Metal or with the Nu Metal.
Another originality could feel on the level of the battery, indeed the rates/rhythms struck by those Ci are rather rates/rhythms employed hitherto in Grindcore. It is an enormous originality because before them the rates/rhythms of the batteries were more those of the Thrash.
Pete Sandoval thus brought a large key of originality has this innovative group.
One can also underline with dimensions the sometimes mystical one of their production in the atmosphere. This work on the atmosphere inspired in particular Karl Sanders of the group of Death Metal American Nile.
