The family of the Moraceae includes/understands nearly 1400 Espèce S divided into forty kind S:
It is for the majority of the trees or the shrubs, generally producing latex. One can also meet lianas or more rarely of the herbaceous plants in this family.
One can quote the following kinds:
- Morus : the white Mûrier knew its hour of glory in France with the breeding of the Silkworm;
- Ficus : to this kind belongs the Figuier cultivated in the basin the Mediterranean N for its fruits, the Figue S; certain species are cultivated for the production of the rubber;
- Artocarpus or Breadfruit tree;
- Maclura with the Orange tree of Osages ( Maclura will pomifera );
- Broussonetia with the Mulberry tree with paper.
The phylogenetic Classification place this family in the order of the Rosales, order directly attached to the group of the Eurosids I.
