Montsec (mountain)

Serra del Montsec is a calcareous mountainous chain of approximately 40 kilometers length and 18.696 ha surface, located in the Catalan province of Lérida and in the province aragonese of Huesca in Spain. The chain is directed perfectly East-West and two rivers the cut into two in impressive cliffs (Terradets and Montrebei).

These rivers divides the chain into three sections (west in the east):

El Montsec d' Estall (in Aragon)
El Montsec de Rúbies
El Montsec d' Ares .
