Montroi (Valencian name , Castilian Montroy in ) is a commune of Spain, located in the Province of Valence (autonomous Communauté of Valence).

Montroy is bordering with the following localities: Back Aguas, Llombay, Monserrat, Real de Montroy and Turís, all in the Province of Valence.

Monuments

  • Parish church . The Church of Santa María was built in XVIe century. Its plan is in Latin cross and comprises three naves. The church contains a retable baroque and Pieta of Gregorio Fernández.

  • Torre . Of origin Moslem and dating from the XIIIe century. It was built because of the vulnerability of the locality on the side of the sea. The dynasty nasride built this tower of defense. The tower is 12 meters high; it is built out of bricks; it has two stages with openings supervising the sea and a terrace.
