Montreal project
Projet Montreal is a Political party montréalais whose chief is Richard Bergeron. The priority of this party is to limit the car to the profit of public transport. The new tram, of better subway stations, fallback speed and less space of parking are the principal means than intend to undertake this party to reduce the motor vehicle traffic in the streets of Montreal.
To retain the young families and to counter urban spreading out, Projet Montreal wishes to arrange more convivial parks and residential districts.
To limit the real estate speculation, Projet Montreal intends to control the increases in rent and to build social housing, which would help the poor and single-parent families.
