Montreal, world Capital of the book 2005-2006

Montreal, “Capital world of the book 2005-2006” is an event Culture L Montreal board. It is one year set of themes of UNESCO celebrating the book, of the April 23rd 2005 with the April 22nd 2006.

Montreal is the fifth city with being named world Capitale of the book by UNESCO. It received this title because of the great vitality of its literary scene and owing to the fact that it is the point of meeting of several cultures: English E, indigenous, caribéen, French E, Hispanic and the East ale.
