Montprofond

Montprofond ( Undermountain in English) is gigantic a complex underground ( keep in jargon of Keeps and dragons) of the imaginary world of the forgotten Royaumes, decoration of countryside of the Roleplay Donjons and dragons.

History

Montprofont was occupied by the dwarf clan Melairkyn in -1288 DR. after a seam of mithril was discovered. They faced the Drows and Duergars autochtones, and undergrounds drove out them. Those thrived a long moment, but were however regularly attacked by the latter. In 64 DR., the drows succeeded in reversing the dwarves. Very a long time before Eauprofonde is built, the insane magician Halaster Cape black built thousands of tunnels under the city, forming strange and frightening labyrinth. No one does not know from which Halaster came, one speaks about Raurin or Kara-Tur. It would be him which invented the fairs of magi. One day however, it ceased any contact with the world and went to settle with the Eauprofonde Mount (in 168). He entreated creatures of another plan and changed categorically. The duergars left into 268, because the mythril was exhausted. Halaster dominated Montprofont dice 309 being surrounded of powerful creatures controlled to its will, Halaster populated this keep of frightening monsters. And the drows left the major levels into 493. Once the left drows, Halaster was inserted even more deeply. Its apprentices left to his research and were inserted in the keep. Surrounded by powerful creatures controlled to its will, Halaster populated this keep of frightening monsters. Time passing it does not cease increasing its kingdom and is inserted more deeply. For a long time its kingdom was unexplored. Halaster always lives in Montprofond, and seems to draw part of its capacity and an immortality from the keep itself. Rare are the survivors, but those which leave there enjoy an amply deserved respect.
