Montlognon

Montlognon is a common French, located in the department of the Oise and the area Picardy.

Geography

The village is located on the Nonette, to 45 km in the North-East of Paris, 10 km in the south-east of Senlis and 6 km in the north of Ermenonville, in the middle of the Regional natural park Oise-Country of France.

Personalities related to the commune

Constantin Kluge, painter of international repute, born on January 29th, 1912 with Rīga (Latvia), deceased in Montlognon on January 9th, 2003. Very known with the the United States through the Finlay Gallery, it is often regarded there as the painter of Paris and its monuments. It was decorated with the legion of honor by President François Mitterrand.
