Montgenèvre (it: Monginevro ) is a common French, located in the department of the Hautes-Alpes and the area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure.

Montgenèvre is a small station of ski located at the France-Italy border.
History
Montgenèvre is the senior of the French ski stations. The station celebrated its centenary during the winter 2007. Indeed, Montgenèvre became a station dedicated to the ski in 1907 with the organization of the first international competition.

Jean Gabin, who gave his name to the cinema, Jean Cocteau, Paul Emile Victor, Mistinguette. But also the brothers Charles, Sebastien and Nicolas who created the first school of ski independent of Montgenèvre: APEAK.
