Montcalm (Manitoba)

Montcalm is a rural district of the Manitoba of 1.600 inhabitants (1996) located at the border of the the United States of America, to approximately 60 km in the south of Winnipeg. It is crossed by the Red Rivière, Roseau and Plum.

It is made up of the village of Saint-Jospeph, Saint-Jean-Baptist and Letellier.

It was rested by pioneers Canadian-French. The French is always spoken there (50%).
