Montagnol

Montagnol is a common French, located in the department of the Aveyron and the area the Midday-Pyrenees. Its inhabitants is called Montagnolois.

Geography

Montagnol is located on a monticule at horse between the valleys of the Sorgues and the Nuéjouls.

  • Vestiges of an ancient mining (I er - 1st century apr. J. - C.)
  • Old castle feudal, half of the commune depended on the Abbaye on Sylvanès to the Moyen-âge
  • In 1831, the commune absorbs the old commune of Laval-and-Cénomes
