Monster (film, 2003)

Adapted of a news item which had shaken America in the Années 1980, Monster is the first feature-length film carried out by Patty Jenkins in 2003. This film reports in a fictionalized way the life of Aileen Wuornos.

Synopsis

Aileen zone since years and survives while being prostituant. One day, it meets in a bar Selby, a young a little immature lesbian, with which it quickly falls in love. The two young girls then try to escape their daily newspaper: Selby wants to escape from a family rigid and invading and Aileen wishes to find a work. However, because the financial position is not easy, Aileen turns over prostituer. One night, it is made attack by a customer that it in extremis manages to kill. A first crime. Others, then, will follow…
