The monoterpenes are a family of Molécule S in Biologie, belonging to the Terpène S. They are derivatives of the Isoprène C5H8 and have as a basic formula (C5H8) 2.
Origin
The monoterpenes are with the Sesquiterpène S, one of the principal elements of the aromatic vegetable gasolines called " essential Oils ".
