Monocyte

The monocytes are blood cells of the family of the Leucocyte S (white globules) which evolve/move in Macrophage S.

The precursors of these cells are in the osseous Moelle red in the forms of Monoblaste S which will evolve/move in Promonocyte S. the Phagocyte S which derive from it are responsible for the Phagocytose and are present in blood and certain fabrics.

They are the largest cells circulating in blood. Rounds or ovals, they measure between 15 and 25 microns (micrometers) and reach to 40 micrometers diameter. Their number is variable, 0,2 to 1 billion, just like their lifespan, being spread out few days in a few months.
