Monoclinical
In Crystallography, the monoclinical term indicates one of the categories in which one classifies the crystals according to their properties of Symétrie. In the reticular System monoclinical, the Réseau of Faced Cristal is described by vectors unequal lengths, as in the system Orthorhombique. They form a rectangular prism with a base Parallélogramme. Consequently, two pairs of vectors are perpendicular, while the third forms an angle different of 90°.
There exist two networks of Faced monoclinical: the primitive monoclinical network (mP) and the centered monoclinical network (ms), with layers in rectangular and rhombic network, respectively.
