Monocarpique

A monocarpic Plante is a plant which Fleur it, produced Graine S, then dies. The plant can live several years before flowering. The death of the plant does not result directly from flowering but the production of Fruit S and seeds causes changes inside the plant which lead to its death. These changes are caused by chemicals which act like Hormone S, by redirecting the resources of the plant of the root S and the Feuille S towards the production of fruits and seeds.

Often the monocarpic plants can be kept in Vie after flowering if the flowers are removed at once after the blossoming, before the formation of seeds starts.
