Monlet

Monlet is a common French, located in the department of the Haute-Loire and the area Auvergne.

Geography

Monlet is with two kilometers of the place chief of canton, Allègre, in the part centers northern the High Loire. The village, crossed in its medium and of north in the south by the RD 13, is vastest of the canton with a surface of 3.561 hectares. History, Places and Monuments

The tree emphasizes a sarcophagus Gallo-Roman as well as a labrum which was used for ablutions at the entry of the temples (basin).

The cultural heritage of Monlet will still involve the holiday maker towards the vault of Varennes, built in 1895. This “Notre-Dame of pity”, the virgin of the poor, beggars and of the loggers continues to be venerated at the time of an annual pilgrimage in August.
